CBI strongly encourages the use of anti-virus and personal firewall software to safeguard computers. However, all tech support questions in either installing or configuring those software programs should be directed to their respective companies.

CBI does not provide support or endorse most third party applications. If you have questions, concerns, or problems with a third party software application, you will need to contact the software manufacturer. In no event shall CBI, its agents, or officers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages to computer Hardware or Software) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software mentioned above, even if CBI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

1. Ad-Aware® SE Personal Edition.
   Adware/Spyware removal tool. This tool will remove Data-mining, aggressive advertising, Parasites, Scumware, selected traditional Trojans, Dialers, Malware, Browser hijackers, and tracking components. That are know to it, when is it run by the user. It should be run as many times as you log off the Internet. Ad-Aware® needs to be updated 1-2 time a week.
2. Spybot - Search & Destroy
   Adware/Spyware removal tool. This tool is similar to Ad-Aware® in removing Adware/Spyware but it has some advanced features such as immunizers and blockers. Visit the site for more info.
3. AntiVir® Personal Edition Classic
   Antivirus Program. This is a great free antivirus Like all free antivirus programs there are some concerns the servers are slow and sometimes you can not update the virus definition files on the first time, you can only auto update once a week (antivirus programs should be updated at least 2 times a week), many things you need to do manually. We recommend that you do some research on what your needs are for an antivirus and purchase that program instead. It is not a good Idea to blindly buy the first one you see.
4. CleanUp!
   Deletes temporary files from your system. Removes temporary files created while surfing the web, empties the Recycle Bin, deletes files from your temporary folders and more.
